Default Lost thread...

Morning everyone...
I am having marginal luck here on the boards with many of my noob woes, so I thought I would tackle a "simpler" fix this weekend. Thing is, I can't find the thread that addressed it
Not too long ago there was a thread on removing and fixing a shakey side view mirror.
I have tried the search function for:
mirror
side mirror
side view mirror
side mirror rattle
side view mirror rattle
and lock tight (I remembered that was somewhere in the instructions to fix this mior annoyance)

If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks
JTK

Manually move the mirror until you can get your fingers behind the mirror. Pull the mirror straight off.

The back of the mirror snaps into a pot metal trunion. Sometimes that cracks. Mid America sells them for $5.00.

Also the Motor for the mirror has some screws that back out and can cause the mirror to shake.
