Default need to know the process to pull codes on a 95

In detail can someone tell me how to jumper the pins or whatever you gotta do on a 95 to read codes.

Still the same problem: cut car on front air pump/ SMOG PUMP? in front left runs for about 1 min 30 secs cuts off all is good then it cuts on and off a couple times then the service engine light comes on along with the Aux. fan cutting on..and if you drive it at high rpm's it has a horrible skip.

95 with 41k on it

thanks

If you go to the C4tech forum and check the sticky note at the top it should explain in detail which 2 pins to short and then how to count the light blinks to determine the various codes.

See my post in this archived (old) thread. Complete detailed info for a '95 and also a comprehensive list of DTC's:

Here's one with a diagram of the proper pins to jumper with the paper clip, about the 12th post down in the list:

Not on a '95. Yes, you short the pins but the CCM will display the codes on the dash. By using the CCM buttons to the right of the dash cluster you can select the various systems (PCM, CCM, ABS, etc.) and read or clear the codes.
