Default For people who need new sunvisors...

I was comparing all the prices in all the catalogs that are offered for our vettes. I then decided to contact John at Superior Chevrolet and he quoted me for a pair of sunvisors with lighted vanity mirrors for 181 dollars! This is with the CorvetteForum discount. I went ahead and purchased them. If people need to get some sunvisors like I did I suggest they contact him at Superior because I notice his prices are cheaper than most of what the catalogs have to offer. I also bought a new windshield weatherstrip last week for only 195 dollars! Compare that to 300 dollars or so to what the catalogs offer for the GM stuff. Why go through these guys when you can get em direct from GM ?

Chris (at Superior Chevy) is a really great guy. Always willing to help out. And good prices to boot, genuine GM.

Just replaced mine last month. Had the visors recovered at the same time I had the seats done. Both sides are lighted on mine. Does it look EXACTLY original? No, but it was only $40 for both. Just what I did.

I am assuming that you went to the Corvette store here and looked at the price? $149.00 84-96 Replacement sunvisors WITH mirrors? Seems to me you over paid by $32.00.

If you are after sun visors look in the forum store first - better made - uses a plastic liner versus cardboard and cheaper.

The number is 1-800 728-8267. Ask for either Chris or John. Tell them you are a corvetteforum member.

Amazing seems no one wants to even concider the Forum store - is there something I don't know about the quality of the visors listed here?

You can't go wrong with Superior Chevy -- great service and prices, and they gladly ship. Generally get my stuff faster than the "real" mail-order places like MAVette or Ecklers. And like teebee1994 said, it's genuine GM, not some re-pop crap.

I agree sometimes OEM is best, however my visors have that floppy ear sydrome, where the cardboard core has broken and the ends. I went ahead and ordered off the forum because the core is a flexible plastic and should not break.

I kinda like the ends of mine floppy because if they were hard, my head would be full of bruises! I guess the previous/first original owner since Dec. 1989 has always hit his head there when getting in.
