Thermostat Questions?
I just have a couple of quick thermostat questions.
1. Is there any problem using a 180 degree thermostat in my '86 L98 iron head?
2. Is a gasket used between the intake manifold and the outlet housing?
I'm running the stock chip in case that makes a difference. Also, the helms manual shows a gasket in the r&r illustration but calls for rtv silicone in the r&r instructions. Thanks for any help.
