I recently purchased a 1996 CE LT4 and was delighted to find the original window sticker in the car! It was in great condition; still had the protective film on the backside like it was never actually adhered to the glass like you see on most new cars. This was like icing on the cake for me. I just finished framing the window sticker and it sure looks neat hanging on my wall. It was $43,488. when new. Was wondering how many other C4 vette owners have their original window stickers (not the repro's from Corvette Museum)?

Yup, it's a little old/yellow/shreded and missing one corner, but I have it.

Yeah, I agree. They cost $72 from the Corvette Museum. I also think they are neat to have and add to the appeal of a car, in my humble opinion. At a car show it would be cool to have the original window sticker in a nice frame setting with the car. :cheers:

I'm the original owner of my '86 PaceCar and yes, I do have the original sticker. I also have a repro from the NCM and the funny thing is a few of the options are priced differently on the repro. The repro matches the Black Book, not the sticker which is what I actually paid.

I have mine. The previous owner mailed it to me when he found it one year after I bought the car. A little wrinkled and yellow....But it is 17 years old. The car was $24.890.00 when originally purchased. :chevy

That was a lot of money in 1984!! My 1996 CE LT4 was $43,844.00 when new. That was a lot of money in 1996 and it still is a lot of money today for a car. Of course I didn't pay that for mine. :seeya

They probably do, they just fail to pass them along with the car when it is sold. I still have the original window sticker for several 'lesser cars' that I have owned (78 Trans Am, 94 Bonneville, 00 Bonneville).

Sure wish I had the sticker for my 93. However, I can see the build sheet in my front crossmember (Thanks to a recent Forum post!). I'm just waiting till I have the time and patience to fish it out.

My dealer was so kind to clean my car up and take all the :cuss stickers off before I picked mine up. I guess they thought that would go towards customer satisfaction to do this. :cuss
