Default 1993 Black Rose

I just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. I've been lurking for the last few months so I figured it was time to say hello.

I recently bought a 93 Black Rose Coupe with 28k on the odometer. Auto and Stock everything. So far, so good. It runs great, looks great, and puts a HUGE smile on my face.

My only regret is getting automatic. My last car was a stick. I didn't think I'd miss it, but I do.

I'm self taught mechanically. Not an expert by any means, but not afraid to tear into a car either. It 'usually' turns out okay, hehe. I'm sure I'll be asking a few questions along the way.

I'll post a pic or two soon.

a FSM as we call it here. Without it you will be working on the vette blind in most cases. I will pay for itself the first time you use it.

Welcome to the world of Corvette ownership. Hope to see you around.

I'll keep my eyes open for an FSM on Ebay. I have the Haynes manual, but as we all know they are not the greatest.

I've always wanted a Vette, as long as I can remember. Actually, I have a soft spot for all american muscle. Shh, don't tell the hardcore people here.

Oh, and yes I've been waving like crazy.

Welcome aboard. Just picked up copies of the service manuals on Ebay. A wealth of information. I too have a soft spot for Chevy muscle cars.

Welcome to the Forum!

Be sure to buy the FSM!

I would love to see a pic of your Vette! Your color is one of my favorites.

You will have a great time here. Great folks. Great info. In that order.

Looks great! Couple of your cows appear to be checking it out. Can't say I blame 'em.

Not my cows, but yeah they do look interested in the car. That pic was taken at my inlaws dairy farm.

Here's a somewhat better pic. The pic also contains a not so subtle hint as to what my first mod is.

Where are you located? I have cows on my land and they're always checking out my Vette too

I picked her up at the end of May with 28k on the clock. She's at 29.5 now. I don't drive my cars in the rain or snow, but when there is sunshine you can bet that they'll be flying down the road.
