why do some l98s have black valve covers and some have that aluminum color, the ones in the diffrent year vetes?

Does anyone know where I might be able to get the spark plug wire retainer brackets that mount on the valve covers. I found the actual Spark Plug Wire Retainers for a decent price. Just need the metal brackets as mine are missing for some odd reason.

Okay, I believe you both have the same wire loom holder for your spark plugs.
They both appear to be on differently.
Which one is on correctly? Or is there no wrong way?
Aren't they the one's from Summit?

I'll check Corvette Central. I also intend to place the front on jack stands and remove the front wheels. This will give me more access to the injectors and more.
