Shinoda / Mears Body Kit HELP!
Is there anyone that has actually installed this kit? Does anyone have a copy of the instructions? I have an original kit and have started working on it but this is not going to be an easy install... especially without any instructions.
Thanks,

Step one: unbolt stuff
Step two: bolt stuff on.

O.K., there's some more steps. Mark and shave to fit. unbolt, re-bolt, shave, unbolt, shave, re-bolt... Finally, sand & paint.

Instructions? Who needs sticking instructions? I didn't have instructions when I converted from early to late bumpers, moldings, etc... You just have to be smarter than the car!

Thats what I thought too... guess what?... it is nothing like the original body! I have 4 boxes of accessories, brackets, and other hardware. The front bumper is 4 different peices + brackets unlike the original.
Will I figure it out someday on my own... I sure hope so, but its already Feb and I want to have it painted and on the road as soon as it gets nice out!!
Someone must have installed this kit before!!!!

I just remembered someone who said he bought a SMears kit off eBay. I also believe it wasn't installed as of last spring ('06). So, he might have the instructions?
PM sent with his email address. I got his name from another forum. I don't remember if he hangs in this one too.

Searched in the old posts here......
Word is that The Last Detail in Atlanta was the one selling off the kits.
http://www.tld-corvette.com
They post on ebay under Atlantacorvette
Give them a call and see if they have any or a lead on one.

Possibly one of the best looking after market kits for the C4.

I own the one corvetteronw had posted the pics on. It is chromeillusion paint. I still have the books somewhere if that helps. Email at malcolmmar@msn.com if you need help. P.S. Now working on a custom matching Corvette liquor trailer named "ThirstAid".
