20" Rims on a C4? Pics!!!
Does anyone have a set of 20" rims on a C4? If so could you please post a few pics? I would like to see a 19"/ 20" front/ rear combo!!!
I thinking of a set of Ruff Racing 278 wheel, any ideals?

Quasar Z's now sold car. CCW 505A's. 19x10 and 20x12.5 with 295/30/19 and 345/25/20.
IMO they seem to overpower the appearance of the car. I think a 18/19 combo would compliment (without becoming the main focus) the car’s beauty better.

17/18s maybe. Then again, I don't like those CCWs in anything smaller than 18s. Double-edged sword there. ; )

Don't do it! Just my $.02.
If you do go with them then you should also pop for one of these watches:

I understand your reply, but each generation has it's own ideas. Eventionally, they become the norm.
When we were kids, deep dish rears and skinny fronts were the cool thing. And, BIG MEAT was also the trend.
Nowadays, excessive wheel size pushes the limit of how little tire can be present. To a certain extent, this is a good thing -- since smaller sidewalls lead to better handling. For cars like our vettes that impress by their cornering, improving on that by reducing sidewall even further is hard to argue with.
Course, some of the designs leave something to be desired!
I say go for it... There were some "bitchin" wheels (model name) listed in a thread which highlights nicely modded cars. From my perspective, these are some of the best wheels (20s) I've seen. But, jeeezzzz they cause a lot! Hope you can afford it!

I have a set of 19x9.5 and 20x10 HRE's on my C4. They are not on the car right now (winter), but Ill see if I can find some pics.
They fit just fine even with the car slightly lower due to a set of coilovers.

Personally I think anything bigger that an 18" would look tacky. The car came with 16" and 17". If it was done right I guess it would look ok. I see too many classics and suv's with 20" rims and they look ghetto to me.

There is a forum member on here who has a 19 up front 20 in the rear rim combo in either HRE or CCW rims that looks really really nice. There is another member on here that has 20" all around Fiske's that looks good too. If you say 20's look bad no matter what on a C4 you really are making a close minded statement

If you want to look cool in the ghetto and don't mind hurting every aspect of your car's performance, then go for it. IMO, It is a terrible idea.

If you havn't noticed the c5 has staggered rim sizes to give the 'illusion' of a properly designed body ( ). No really, it was decided the *** was way too large and putting a bigger rim in the back made it look better and not so big to the eye.
20s are only ok if ur willing to put a TINY TINY tire profile or else it looks liek an offroad car. the c4s body tucks in under it which makes it worse.

Here you go 20s all the way around, 20x10 rear 20x9 upfront, they were a custom build originally for a newer Cobra Mustang and no they don’t rub. By the way those Ruff Racing wheels are sweet. I would highly recommend those and the price is definitely right.By the way Ill be sure to let my wife know that we live in the Ghetto (Some people)
