Default Glove box switch

I need a glove box switch for a 1990. Anyone have an idea where I can get one. Thanks, Jack

A common part shared with MANY GM models. I think the Part Number is 25509430. ANy GM dealer should carry it in stock.

I guess your're refering to the light switch. I had my glove box door pop open a coouple times and the battery went dead. I just disconnected mine. The light is almost not worth using.

I understand but I replaced my heater core it was the only casulty. I just have it in my mind to do a complete job. Ordered one todayfrom my local Chevy dealer.

If you can do that then please explain the General Theory of Relativity to me because everone knows a heater core is harder

Really it is not difficult, just time consuming and frankly boring. It does give you an opportunity to tidy up some of the wire harnesses etc, and with a little bit of gorilla glue fix some the age problems to the dash board. I combined it with replacing carpet and seats. Last, as you may have seen in other posts, I did it twice because the aftermarket heat core that I purchased leaked. (Note to self, you get what you pay for.)
