Steering wheel Vibrating fiercely after hard acceleration onto freeway then smoothes
Im having a problem with my steering wheel it vibrates at 60 mph after i merge onto freeway.
The front suspension stays straight so I no its coming from the steering wheel, but the steering wheel bolt is tight.
any suggestions before i take it to the dealer and pay$$$
thanks

I would have to agree with scott...i've had the exact same issue before and it turned out to be a bad tire that was out of round. this is usually caused by letting it sit too long without driving it.

Jack it up. Grab each wheel at the 12-6 and 9-3 o'clock positions and shake or move to check for ball boints, wheel bearings. Check front tie rods, etc, etc. Before you pay the dealer to do the samething. You might simply have a tire/wheel out of balance, but check it out yourself first.
ps--if rotor(s) are warped you will feel a pulsing in the brake pedal under
most braking situations. Reason is the warped rotor will try to push the caliber back in, forcing fluid back to the master cylinder every time the 'high spot' passes the caliber piston. Rotors are not a likely cause for your situation.

I experience it too. If fact, yesterday after work I checked my front wheels by jacking the car up and all was tight. I'm thinking it's more balance or bad tire.
Thanks for the heads-up.
