Default Please Help!!

After pulling up the codes I got H72, and looked in the haynes book it says that is a Gear Selector Switch. And to fix it, it says: Check the connections at the TCC solenoid and Park Neutral Switch. Replace the ECM or repair teh transmission as needed. Ok what should be the first thing to start with? I couldnt find anything in the book about a Gear selector switch where is it at? Also it says check the connections at the TCC solenoid where is that at Im very confused right now

Not trying to be a wise guy, But:

The 1st thing to do is get a better book than Haynes. In the future get the GM shop manual, published by Helms.

DTC 72 is for vehicle speed sensor loss. H is a history code. Suggest you drive it & see if it returns. The FSM states it may clear after cycling the ignition.

The Haynes is not worth much unfortunately.
