I know of a few bad ones that I won't mention but I have not found a good one yet and would be interested also. Guy

35th,

My mother had her '87 repainted at a shop in Fairfax, Va that specializes in exotics and corvettes. If you shoot me an email I can get you the name and number of the place when I talk to her tonight. They did a really nice job repainting her DRM.

Price I believe was around 4grand.

Ed, if you are talking about Fork Auto body next to Town and Country, they painted my hood and I am not real happy with it. Paint is kind of orange peely and they got overspray on my door, trashed the car with dust inside and out and almost ripped my spoiler off while pulling it around. I would not go back there. I took it back because paint is bubbling on hood and they said oil is coming from engine and going through the fiberglass and causing it to bubble.I don't know if that is possible or not but I would not go back there. Does Town and Country have their own shop or do they use Fork? Guy

Ditto on the recommendation for Tony's. He's absolutely the BEST vette shop in the area. He makes sure things are done right - and stands behind everything they do or farm out. I've dealt with Tony many many times - he's great!!

Their right about Town & Country, butchers. Call Gallant's, he is in the Bel Air corvette club. His shop is in Bel Air and he paints as well as repairs corvetts. To get it done properly, it's expensive. I guess that's not your car in the sig :seeya :seeya
