Several members have dropped ZZ4's into L98's. Scroggin Dickey now makes a vortec intake base for tpi, so you can use the 330 horse crate motor that comes with the vortec heads @ about $2100 for the 330 horse crate motor vs $ 3300 for the ZZ4 and 355 horsepower

I have a ZZ4 in my Z28 (originally an L98). Very painless swap, but don't expect too much of a performance gain. My best time with the stock ZZ4 and stock TPI set up was 13.4 @ 99 MPH pulling 1.7 60 foot times. This was with the original 700R4 and 3.23 gears on BFG drag radials. :chevy
