Default Dressed up L98's ? Post pics please !!!

Im near to a complete rebuild of my L98 engine
so i thought ..if the engine will be removed
i want to look pretty when she is back in the vette !
So i want to see dressed up L98's as examples!
i would love to buy black not shiny valve covers
but not sure on the complete styling
please post your engines !!!

This one its amazing !


After rebuild i want to make my engine look like this one
where can i get a "dress up" kit list to buy the parts
like hose covers and the master cylinder cover ?
im not sure which edelbrock covers will fit
please i need advice or a complete list where to get
hose covers and all

This is what my L98 looked like about 3 years ago:


This is what it looks like now (Valve covers have changed, though, they're a polished aluminum now):


I'm in the process of restoring it to the condition it was in before I got it, though. That first picture is from my Uncle, when he owned it. He changed the distributor wires and removed the air duct dressings. I'm going to keep the blue distributor wires, but I'm going to dress up the air duct again. All the pinstriping accents were done with a piece of tape, so I'm going over them all with a fine tip paint brush to make them more permanent.

I cleaned my engine up really well when i rebuilt it several years ago.
The valve covers are newer (ZZ4 take off's I got for free and painted)

GI Joe, where is your maf sensor? How did you get that set up to work?

His MAF Sensor is still there if you closer.

Here's what it looks like when you like the stock look and want to keep it simple:

Some duplicolor spray cans and your time and she good as new. I just love the look of the stock intake. Next, after the paint wears out I'm powder coating.

How do you guys get your runners/plenum polished and chrome like that? It looks incredible!

Plenum and runners are powdercoated black.

Not a great picture, but it looks good in person!

My Plenum looks like chromed but its polished
i want to do the same to the runners
i really love 1bdvet's engine !
