What month in 94 did Chevrolet switch the water pump/ opti to the later design?

Is there a way to tell which you have by looking at them on the car?

The later Optis are vented, so you can look to see if the vacuum line is present. If I'm not mistaken, you can see the nipple attachment in the first picture of the following post: (at about the 2:00 position on the opti cover)

The switch was not a running change (one that occurred in the middle of a model year's production). All 1992 - 1994 Corvette LT1s were equipped with the first-generation (passively-vented) Opti. All 1995 & 1996 LT1 and 1996 LT4 Corvettes were equipped with the second-generation (actively-vented) Opti.
