Default Touch up Paint in a Spray Can?

I have a 1990 Polo Green Metalic (Paint Code 91) Vert. The underside of the Gas Door has quite a bit of rust under it and I was going to sand it down, treat it with Osfo and spray paint it green again. I have been looking for a spray can of touch up paint from the usual catalogs and all that is available is brush-on touch up paint. Does anyone know of a supplier that handles spray cans of factory correct touch up paint?

I've had good luck with Tower Paint (towerpaint.com). They will put anything you want in a spary can. Theye did a nice job matching my non-standard red. They also offer standard colors with the paint code. I found them in Hemming's Muscle Machines.

I found Quasar Blue Metallic in a small spray can at Murrray's auto parts (local parts store) I used it to paint my fuel rail covers and it matches very well!!

I went by my local dealership and the paint in the spray can has been discontinued. They checked the other dealers and there is one dealer in the state of Florida that has one can. I called them and ordered it, but now they won't ship it because it is in an aerosol can......... Any ideas?

As mentioned above, most automotive paint suppliers will put any color you want into an aerosol can.

If you can't find any local, and have to order they can ship it.
It just has to ship by ground. It can't ship by air.

Here are few places you might want to check out!

http://paintscratch.com/
http://drcolorchip.com/
http://www.automotivetouchup.com/
http://www.touchup123.com/

Last one is the place I used with excellent results.

When you order the paint, make sure they know that you have the 1990 color. Polo Green Metallic II from 1992 on is Code 45 (WA 9539) while 1990 is Code 91 (WA 9529) The later color is brighter with more of a gold metallic to it.

You can get other paint mfgr's codes here

I found an exact match for my 95 Polo Met Green II at a local hardware store. Does anyone know the brand or paint color? It was recomended by a forum member. It is some other color but I can not tell the difference side by side. It is a really good match. I used it to paint my Ram Air front license opening. I need to pick up another can and some clear.

Edit:
I did a search and found the old post for my color.

The DupliColor 5oz spray can should be DSGM432- Medium Green Metallic

Thanks

I had good luck with spray paint from NMB. They were able to match my Steel Blue Metallic. Go here:
