Stalker front bumper for my '85 wanted
Hello All,
Me, here.
I've always wanted to see the stalker bumper installed on a c4 just to see what it looks like, but I have not seen a good picture of one, and the price has always been too high for my bank account. Now I have to put on another bumper, but I thought I would check first to see if anyone has pictures of one installed or knows someone who has one or can direct me to a website to get a better idea of what it looks like.
AND/OR, preferably, has or knows someone who has one for sale, new or used, preferably at less than the $850 catalog price. I have a two-tone paint job but the color doesn't matter, as I will put new paint on it anyway. I can fix scratches and cracks, but not missing pieces, although there are shops around here who can fix whatever's wrong with a used one.
I will appreciate any news - good or bad - about my need/choice for my c4 front end, especially other wind effects available for it.
TIA,
I'm tommyseventeen and I approve this message....

i used to have a stalker corvette, and frankly it was the ugliest piece of garbage known to man. i seriously suggest you forget about it. it turns the good looks of the factory design into a stupid looking whale.
people who design these kits for C4's oughta be put away for being severely mentally retarded.
get yourself a nice used REAL front bumper and repaint. down the road, you'll be happy you did. my firm recommendation, my $0.02.

Stalker Bumper
Tanx 4 your 2 cents worth, Red Tornado. As I said, I will appreciate any thoughts on this subject.
I had a feeling it might not be as purty with that facelift, which is why I though I had better ask around first.
I've seen some advertised for a lot more for c4s called "wide-body", but I don't know what that refers to and the price for those is at least 3 times what it is for the non-wide-bodies. Anyone know what that refers to?

If you want a widebody C4, just get a ZR1. Early ones are getting quite affordable. You also get the bonus that they have more ***** than the L83, L98(exc. B2K), LT1 and LT4 cars in their stock forms.

Talking about a body kit on this forum is like throwing blood in the water with a bunch of sharks
I have a Stalker widebody kit on my 85, and I like it. The only place you get flamed about ANY aftermarket body kit is here
Long story short, just my $0.02, it is your ride, do what you like (but no spinners please)

My $0.02: I don't like the look. But, it's all personal preference anyway. I think the factory lines are hard to improve on, which is why most body kits don't look good.

I think the front bumper looks pretty good. I'm not a fan of the stick-on hood bulges and wings though. Everybody has their own tastes, or we'd all be driving pee yellow Yugo's and wearing propeller beanies and checkerd pants.

Personally i don't like body kits at all
C4's are nice the way they are, maybe a little touch up here and there
but look at the hood stick-on bulge...looks cheap, but it isn't.-
Here,a stalker from Chile...i guess 1984

my $.02: the body kit kinda makes it look like a foreign car of sorts, like a ferrari or sumthin, but i agree with puttin it under the hood b/c the car has a body kit on it
