Hi - any help here would be great. I had thought I had convinced myself to go with regular silver. I like the stock Zr1 look, but I figure polished is ok too. After all, there will be a polished exhaust system, so maybe the polished wheels would look better.

Anyway - the AFS silver wheels are on backorder until sometime in January!!! :eek:

I can survive, but I am only home with the mistress (er....I mean Vette) over the Christmas break. So, I am contemplating paying the extra 100 bucks to go polished.

Chrome is much nicer! I had them on my red 96. I can send photo's later this evening if you would like.

I don't have any digital pics of my coupe, but I've got chrome Zr1 wheels on a TR '93 coupe, and they are dazzling. Highly recommended. Mine came from Corvette Mike.

I have silver AFS wheels on my 86, but I think I would probably go for the chrome or polished route if I had to it again. (I am usually not a big fan of chrome either)

Go chrome!! I really wasn't convinced I'd like chrome vs silver polished but after putting them on I can't believe how great the car looks now... big difference and tons of complements!!
