RPO AK5 (SIR System Driver's Seat)

What is this? If everything works out, I'm picking up my new (old) C4 this weekend. I found what the code was for, I just don't know what SIR is. The year is 1996.

Also, what is R6X and 1AY. I could not find them anywhere.
