Bonus repair (Service LTPWS light)
My 1990 had a problem with the tire pressure warning system. The Service LTPWS light would come on from time to time. The problem seemed to be getting worse. I couldn't find anything wrong with the system. Then the alternator failed. After having the alternator repaired, to my surprise, the Service LTPWS light problem has been corrected. Evidently the alternator was creating radio noise blocking the signal from the sensors.

Really. I may have to put my LTPWS light back in and see if it comes on. I just recently replaced my Alt as well. Thanks for the heads up.
