1991 TPI motor - does Stock Cam have mech fuel pump lobe?
I am putting a 1991 TPI motor into an older car, but have opted to pull the TPI and put in a standard Intake and Carb.
Does the stock TPI cam have lobe on it to run a mechanical fuel pump?? I'd like to not need to put i an electric fuel pump. I have crammed a sscrewdriver up where a shaft would go, and it does not seem to have a lobe, but just checking with the crowd here.
thanks in advance,

you could use a 1983-1986 f-body L-69 pusher intank electric pump guess it can make like 4-5psi, not really sure if it could be run alone as the L-69 also had a mechanical pump as well. only difference between this pump and a efi pump is it's a bit shorter.
its initial purpose was to keep the cars from vapor locking and did a excellent job of curing the probklem.
