Hi guys, this may seem like a newbie question (it is), i feel a bit strange asking this now after ive had the car for 12 months but here it is.

Stock 91 Vert, No Mods, Stock Exhaust , everything stock.

I just pulled the Vert out of the Garage for the First time since winter.

Pulled the Steel wool out of the tail-pipes, disconnected the battery tender, she fired right up.

When im doing my walk about the car, checking it all over while its running, i notice that only the outside Tail pipes on each side has exhaust coming out. The inside pipes on each muffler - pretty much Nil exhaust.

no material difference when i revv it up (at least not that my son could detect whil i hit the gas)

Car's running fine, drives fine

So....is that "Normal" ....id say it was a problem if it was only happening on one side, but both sides are the same.

i just never noticed this last year...

what say you ?

Yup, it's normal, some of the C4 exhaust setups only had one tip open on each side. If you look down the tips with a light you should see it.

My'91 stock exhaust tips were both open as they came with the A/T performance gear 3.07. Based on your statements you have 2.59 gear, check your RPOs (inside of console lid).
