Default Valve Cover Corvette Emblem

I painted my valve covers and I was wondering what I can use to put the corvette emblem back on the valve cover.

I'm sure someone here will come up with something. You could also call 3M. There is a hotline on their website and they are really great about recommending an adhesive product based on the application. In my case, they actually sent me two samples since I only needed a small quantity of an industrial grade double sided tape for my tractor.

3M double sided tape will come loose eventually after a great number of heat cycles. I've had 2 come off with using just the tape. Lost 1 emblem this way and found another laying on the exaust manifold after it came loose.
JB weld is the way to go....only drawback is that it takes awhile to dry. Clean and rough up both surfaces before applying.

If you do the JB Weld, can you remove the emblem at a later date? Or is it stuck for good?

When I paint my valve covers, I may just leave the emblem off, or I may just paint it a solid silver color and stick it on.

Josh,
What I did to mine was media blast it then let it oxidize (which gave it some depth) a few months or so then hit it lightly with a polishing wheel and slapped some high heat engine paint clear coat on it then I JB welded it to the VC. Both sides of pieces that were JB welded were taken down to bear metal. I'm pretty sure this puppy is on there for good. Below is a pic of my JB Weld mounted emblem.

Put mine back on with the 3m tape. Worked so well that after about 4 months I nearly broke it trying to get it off.

I put mine back on when the paint was wet.

Worked fine.
