Default Weatherstrip 1984 corvette

I have replaced all the weatherstrip on my car. The doors are hard to
shut. Also the windows have a slight gap which causes it to leak. How do i fix this problem? Any help would be appreciated.

Thank You

Ensure that the weatherstrip fits completely into the channel on the B pillar and targa top. If it's out even slightly, your doors will be difficult to close. If you've already glued them into place, this might be difficult to fix without tearing the new strips. I recommend test fitting them without the adhesive first before gluing them down.
