Please help: I can't get the key out!?
My poor 86 Pace car. It starts and stops with the key. It seems to go into park (Auto Trans) but not far enough to take the key out. I hate to leave it with the key in it. I thought the lube might have jelled so I removed the steering wheel and squirted some lube down the column. It worked smoothly. Upon reassembly, it worked smoothly. Then upon driving it for a minute and testing, I can't get the key out again. It seems to involve the shift lever somehow.
Can you help Please?

I'd think 'Park Lock Cable' adjustment likely. If you have the FSM it is covered there. Do you have the FSM? If you don't I can help you.

I do have a factory service manual. It is written in cryptic language but I will look for it.
