Anyone tried the leather dye/vinyl paint sold by the major Corvette vendors? Results, especially using torch red as a touch-up?

Haven't used any myself but my wife had a pen in her pocket that made a nice ink line on the seat of her Mercedes and a detailer sprayed it with the stuff and it worked perfectly. It's been about six months and still looks great.
I don't know what he used but I am going to have him treat my Vette one of these days.

My dad recently bought the leather kit from Ecklers on his red/red 94. He says it worked great. Left a nice sheen finish.
