However, on the track they are absolutely amazing.

I don't think I would ever put them in a street car. There is no way that I could get in or out without putting the tilt wheel all the way up. When I say it's tough, keep in mind that I daily drive an 02 Z06 with Caravaggio race seats in it so I'm pretty used to tight seats. I have them hard mounted pretty close to the steering wheel which doesn't help anything.
However, on the track they are absolutely amazing.

This is still my first year in the car so the I am nowhere near as fast as it is capable of. As strange as it seems, I have never actually been out in close quarters with a C6Z. I was able to pretty easily catch and drive away from non-Z C6s that I have been out with so far. I was able to pretty easily run down a 997 Porsche last time out although I'm not exactly sure what model it was or what tires he was running. In corners it is pretty comparable with relatively stock C5 Z06s on slicks. I was pretty bad under braking which has hopefully been fixed with the Wilwoods that weren't on there last time. (It had J55s on it before). The car is pretty light and the LT-4 pulls like a freight train on the low end so I can really gain on most cars on corner exit which as we all know plays a part on the big end of a straight as well. I'm sure that there are a LOT of cars out there that are faster, but even I was surprised at how capable the good ole C4 was able to hold it's own against a lot of the big dogs. I'm pretty happy with it

Jeff- that looks fantastic!! Powder coated, right? I've done my motor up (LT1) in all stainless, chrome and a little bit of andozed red but I'm always jealous of you LT5s at the car shows when they're done up like this- I just can't compete with that monster motor! (so, I have lots of
2nd place trophys-

I also have GS wheels on the car and Shelby Series One wheels waiting for tires
and a M1 prowler front Air Dam
I like that hood on there, is that an add on to the OEM hood?
how much work was it to install?

I love this car- I'm thinking about getting a 2nd C4 that I can turn into off street racing- here in Cali- anything worth a crap (with smog issues) can't be on the street. My current C4 is for cruising and shows-

It probably will not be easy to find the lenses, since Callaway doesn't sell individual pieces of the Aerobody, you have to buy the whole thing. And they won't even sell most of the other parts (turbos, etc and other goodies like that) unless you prove that you have a Callaway car. Guess they don't want a bunch of clones running around.
I wonder where it came from, and how it got separated from the car? Maybe someone wrecked an Aerobody car and was parting it out?
