Default Funfest 09 pics

I just got back and have not had time to download all my pics. This one has a unique gill panel that I thought looked nice. The rest are, umm, different?

wrong offset/backspacing on the wheels (first picture)..

or at least it appears that way from the picture......

BTW: How was the weather and the event in general?

I got there in the early afternoon on Saturday. It was raining so hard that cars were pulling off the Interstate. The lightning was fierce and the thunder loud. I just holed up at the motel the rest of the afternoon as the other guests said the show field was a mud pit.
Now, Sunday on the other hand was beautiful. Lots of sun and mid 70s with a balmy breeze.
I also discovered that if you parked in the spectator lot you did not have to pay an entrance fee. There were not as many cars or people there as when I went in '07.
I especially enjoyed Chris Petris' class on C4 maintenance.

Thanks for the info.....I made the trip every year since 2001 up until 2008-9 due to weather.....I could not get past paying up front for an event when I had no idea what the weather would do....will be interesting to see what the future brings for Mike Yeager's Funfest.....

I never would have thought to have yellow highlights on a blue car, but you know, I like it.
The rear end is way overdone, and I don't like the decals on the door handles, but some yellow striping or highlightins, tastefully done, would be pretty cool.

From the looks of those pictures, it seems like Funfest draws a lot of trash these days.

Not really a bunch of trash cars. I just picked out some of the more "flavorful" ones. See my post on the Callaway Sledgehammer for one that is a true work of art.

The side vents on the first one are cool, but do these guys think that looks cool(the rest of the pic's). Still nice to see different mods.
