Funfest 09 pics
I just got back and have not had time to download all my pics. This one has a unique gill panel that I thought looked nice. The rest are, umm, different?

Now, Sunday on the other hand was beautiful. Lots of sun and mid 70s with a balmy breeze.
I also discovered that if you parked in the spectator lot you did not have to pay an entrance fee. There were not as many cars or people there as when I went in '07.
I especially enjoyed Chris Petris' class on C4 maintenance.

I got there in the early afternoon on Saturday. It was raining so hard that cars were pulling off the Interstate. The lightning was fierce and the thunder loud. I just holed up at the motel the rest of the afternoon as the other guests said the show field was a mud pit.

I never would have thought to have yellow highlights on a blue car, but you know, I like it.
The rear end is way overdone, and I don't like the decals on the door handles, but some yellow striping or highlightins, tastefully done, would be pretty cool.

Not really a bunch of trash cars. I just picked out some of the more "flavorful" ones. See my post on the Callaway Sledgehammer for one that is a true work of art.
