Help! Hard Top and Soft Top Questions!
I saw a 91 convertible that has the painted hard top. Nice car. The owner said it does not have the soft top. My question is if it is possible to add a soft top or if this can be done only if it was from the factory. I thought they usually came with the soft and the hard was an option. I was hoping the car had both tops.
Also, if I found one with a soft top, could you put a hard top on it with the soft top down? Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks!

You have it right. All 'verts come with a soft top. The hardtop is an option. The soft top stows aways and the hardtop bolts onto the car. You don't have to remove the soft top to install the hardtop.
I also removed and sold my soft top. I never used it and didn't want to have the dead weight in the car.
