Wings available for Early C4's?
Ive decided that there is only 1 front spoiler/kit that looks good on a C4...
no side skirts or rear skirts look right..
But a rear wing can define the car's stance.
What wings are available still? I know some of them ge expensive, and some which were previously advertised for 84-96 are now only made for the late C4's...
Also, any pics of rear wings...much appreciated!
I like the looks of the "low profile" wing, but cant find pics of one in real life, jsut one old one in a magazine.

You could probably find a Greenwood wing. They are low-profile and should fit the 84-90 rear. Greenwood may even sell the wing alone with out having to buy the entire kit. Also check the various accessory catalogs like Mid-America nd Eckler's.

At corvette central, they have the front spoiler I want (stage 1), and Toledo Fibeglass has the same kit, looks good, but they dont have a picture of the rear spoiler for the kit...anyone know what it looks like? Google came up empty.

Last I checked there was one of those Greenwood wings for sale on here... the seller was 19corvette91. Not sure if it sold or not, but it was a good price.

Gm styling did one for the squaretail vette, but it was ripped by pontiac for third-gen firebird T-A's, (1984 and about IIRC)...bird spoilers are now common at j-y for $50-$75.
correct width and curve for the vette and mounting pedestals land between the vette tail-lites... bird spoiler does block the vette fuel door, cut abt 1.25'' off the rear of the vette gas door and mount 'cut-off' section permanently in closed position with double-backed tape/etc ,or 'notch' the bird spoiler for (un-modded) vette fuel door swing... also the bird wing mounting pedestals should get very, very minor grinding of bottoms to fit vette bumper
btw, 88 T-A (IIRC) added the 'third eye' brake lite to the underside of the spoiler if you want that update (?)

I have a discontinued rear wing from ecklers, found it on some internet site. I like it but the wife things in makes a vette look like a sunfire.
It is not painted yet. I will install it in the spring.
Comments welcome, good or bad. Need a little feedback.

I'm not sure about this wing, looks like fueling will be a problem also if it's mounted to the rear glass the extra weight might not let the hatch stay up on it's own. However it's your car so if you like it go for it. As far as a comment I would not install on my car.
