I'm guessing it took about as much to keep the driveline together as it took to make 1000h.p. There isn't a single stock driveline part that likes 1000 h.p.
Look at all of those 400 h.p. Civics on the road. The power is the easy part, especially when you are talking twin turbos. Making the rest of the car hold together is what is difficult.

That particular car has bee posted and discussed before. Unfortunately, the forced induction section of this forum is relatively quiet these days...
It's an Lt-x based build. There also happens to be a true Grand-Sport running around with a "similiar" twin-turbo kit (developed by F.A.T. tech in Phoenix, AZ). Although the end-result (power) was far less extreme.
lcvette (chris) has also build a single-turbo application Lt-x 355 cubic-inch c4 that developed something like 700-900rwhp. with the factory stock 6-speed and d-44 rear-end.
A properly size single turbo will work just as well as a similiarly sized set of twins...

WHat I find amazing is all the money put into that Vette and it still has GS-C tires.
Get some real tires to somewhat compliment the money invested into the driveline, body etc.

In the video he says it's a "95 Callaway", I thought '91 was the last year for the Callaway cars? Maybe the owner stuck an Aerobody on a stock '95 LT-1 car?

Callaway made SuperNatural versions of '92-96 Corvettes. The factory RPO ended with the '91 model year, but Callaway still modified LT1/4/5 cars on a post-delivery basis.
Mostly the LT1/4 cars were 383's in various states of power, and the LT5 was a fully-ported engine. But Callaway is the kind of company where they'll do pretty much anything you are willing to pay for.

Video link is dead, this was probably the video it pointed to.

That is member "shopview"'s car. I bought my ysi setup from him. Nelson first went to the ysi and they couldn't make enough power due to the belt drive system. They then pulled it and went to the twin turbo's.
Apparently it is a 383 with ported lt1 heads. Mild camshaft. Nothing fancy. Just a good helping of boost. The car was built around 2006.

Think I saw that Supernatural in Nelsons shop yrs ago some guy from Vegas?
You guys should see what Nelson has done wiht the LT5. His own billet heads, block etc. extreme stuff with a price to boot. He had a Pantera Mangusta (GTS?) I couldnt keep my eyes off of..definitely a forced induction expert.
THIS I dont get. You cannot have that kind of power on street tires, period;even 'driving it easy'. It will get wrapped around a tree;guess some get so wraped up around non matching tread Id be more worried about staying alive.
