Need a picture of outer and inner window door seal PLEASE
Hello,
With the help of some great info/tips found on the forum, I am replacing the outer window seals of my 1990 corvette (because they are completely cracked).
I have installed the new outer window seal, and put the door panel back on, but it just doesn't look like it sits right. (I am going crazy )
I was wondering if someone could take a photo with the window down of their corvette, so that I may compare mine. a photo of how the gap between the inner and outer seal sit would be great.
The Newly installed outer window seal now overlaps the inner seal (but the window can still come up and down through fine), however there was a gap between the inner and OLDER outer window seal.
Whether my old seals were just so worn that they became warped over time (or they were previously replaced incorrectly, I don't know (I thought they were the original)....so thats the reason for my request.
Thanks in advance, I appreciate any help you may have.

Thanks for the replies guys, I figured it may just be new vs old seal, but wanted to check, there is definitely a noticeable difference. The window goes up down fine, the door panel is on tight and looks ok, I will just have to do the other side sooner now so they match.
I will try to get a photo up tonight showing new vs old, a friend has 'borrowed' my digital camera.......
In the mean time I just wanted to ask. Where the door panel attaches to the door along the top edge, those plastic ribs on the door panel attach it to the ridge/lip on the door or is it the inner window seal that goes down onto the door's ridge/lip. Hope you can understand that, it is hard to explain without photos.
Thanks,
cosmic
