Im getting ready to start painting my vert. One of the colors im considering is House of Kolor Candy Brandywine. Any one got any pics of vettes this color? I want to look at some pics before I go buy my paint tomorrow.

There is a 1991 ZR-1 that was painted this color,I dont have any pictures of the car but you might want to ask around in the ZR-1 section.This car was totaled and rebuilt.If you pull up totaled ZR-1s this is the white car that is down an embankment with the front bumper in the water.The pictures of the car repainted really show this color in the sun.

No, I had a 68 BB vette I painted candy brandywine. My c3 was a t-top. It was beautiful.

If I choose this I will use a gold base and the brandywine, the clear then done.

My vert has a black top, and was also interested in how the brandywine looks with the black top.

Hey Mike what did you decide today on the color for the vert? Did you decided on the candy brandywine with gold base or the black with ghost flames?

Can't wait to see the progress as you do this

Either would look good, but I think the candy brandywine will be a head turner and look friggin' sharp in the California sun

I decided to go black with the blue pearl ghost flames. Brandywine looks good too, but im burned out on my vette being red.

I went to my DuPont jobber today, and they have left my city.

There is a new paint store there now. So I bought my supplies from them. Im going to miss Dupont paint big time.

Here is what I bought today. The Hi build black primer, black base and the clear. I also got some catalized putty. Bill came to 380 bucks. My price with my discount. Thats one reason getting your car painted costs so much.

This container of blue pearl I have already used on a bunch of cars and bikes. This little jar holds enough pearl to do like 10 cars.

Im still waiting for my new vert top to arrive. I want to put the top on first before I paint. I just got my new weatherstripping. Its going to be fun. Its always more enjoyable when I paint my own cars instead of someone else's
