305/25/20 on a C4?
Anyone running 305/25/20's on their C4? I have a 94 coupe, going with Ruff Racing 281's. Was curious if anyone had this size for their rear tires....going with a 275/30/19 up front.
Tire guys have told me it should work, but wanted the expert opinion of you folks out here...
Thanks!

Those have to be 24" wheels or bigger on that Vette in the picture. It really does look wacky.
They run the 20" rear and 19" fronts on a ton of C5 and C6 Vettes with the Ruff Racing wheels. So if they look good on those, why wouldn't they work on a C4? I really appreciate everyone's suggestions, and it's not cheap and I've been looking for a long time at wheels / tires...want to make sure I am making the right decision....

I go to school in downtown Flint,MI. There are two C4s with 20+ wheels on them I see regularly and it looks just awful! I doubt this was photoshoped.
To give you an idea, I had a flat tire the day before an auto-x event a couple years ago and borrowed some rubber off my BMW. This is what it looked like with 19s in the rear:
I didnt care for it but I was desperate for tires.

Actually the overall diameter of a 305-25-R20 is 26", essentially the same as the OEM tires.
I agree the reduction in side wall is not good for street driving....
plus I don't think it will perform all that well with the stock suspension
would not be good IMHO, but everyone is different
