I prefer the profile of a C4 convertible :yesnod: . I also like to be able to put the top down and have the open-air experience. Just wish it had a little more room behind the seats like a coupe.

But if you are talking about a C5, I really like the lines of the '99 Hardtop  .

Have to say convertible. I agree the lines are great. When you hear "sports car" I think you really think of a convertible.

I prefer the convertible. The top down thing is great on warm summer nights, not too much of a daytime guy. I have never liked the greenhouse rear windows from their intro on the 73 to the present. The extra space would be nice, but if you want storage buy a minivan. It is supposed to be a sports car!
My favorite look is with the hardtop on. I just got mine in Janruary. It really stiffens the car up too.

Just bought my wife a 94 coupe with the removeable targa top. She loves it, and she can put all her stuff behind the seats and cover it with the screen She lets me drive it on Sundays. . :p: :p:

I have always wanted a convertible not necessarily a vette. But after owning an 84 coupe the more rags i saw the more i wanted one. When this opportunity hit i was so happy. I cant wait to start cruising. :D

Coupe!!

For some reason I just DON'T like most convertibles. (I do like the C5 vert though... I think because the size of the top is so small)

The lines of the coupe, esp with the top off just REALLY appeals to me

I like the coupe with the targa top. Convertibles are cool too but not for me, plus the added weight of a convertable isnt good for 1/4...lol.

I think I prefer coupes for C4s but the converts are cool too. I can't stand C5 coupes.. If I ever buy a Z06 I'm chopping the roof off :D

Coupe = luggage space for vacation and long cruises.

I prefer the rigidity of the hardtop. I autocross and I want maximum performance out of my car (even on the street). I love to unbolt the top when its nice outside, but really it makes the car handle like a wet noodle! Its fun and all, but I like the hardtop. I bought a Corvette, and I want it to handle like it should!

Convertible all the way. You cant be completely topless in a coupe, and I love the looks of a vert. If you REALLY want steel above your head, get a hardtop, which IMHO looks absolutely gorgeous. It also has a roll bar, and is really stiff. Not to mention the trunk.... wait a minute

I think the Vette is the best looking convertable on the road. I have owned both, and I like the convertable over the coupe.

convertable all the way. how ever much more you pay to get the vert will come back to you when you sell it.... and then some. its like a free option.

Coupe... I like having a roof over my head and hardly ever take the top off... wish they made an FRC C4!

I like the coupe, I don't like the way the verts look with the top down.
