new member... 86 project started!MOTOR DONE AND MORE PICS UP!!!!
well here is my 86 Corvette black with tan interior that i just picked up couple weeks ago for 1200 bucks .... blown head gaskets and interior was decent but extremely FADDED...
My goal is to have a black on black car with a solid 350 under the hood.. nothing crazy but enough to know its not stock..
i took pics so far of everything i did.. here is a list
1. Removed door panels, seats
2. Removed all plastics
3. Removed all carpet and insulation (except for dash... forgot)
4. Took a break from interior and started to rip apart motor... shortblock is left.. soon to come out when i get a hoist from my dad..
5. Went back to interior and got almost every bit of the hushmat/dynamat
6. (next) get some fiberglass and resin and fix the holes in the toe boards..(pushed threw..)
hope you all like the pics.. ill update the list the more i get done..and add pics on everything i did.. there are pics of parts before and after being cleanned just to show before and after stuff.. ill try and keep them together as much as possible..

MAN! you are one busy little beaver! attacking more than one area at a time shows you're braver than I am. that hushmat looks pretty good in the back! keep new pix coming as you progress. I notice your late '86 by the aluminum heads, and as a crossfire pilot, I always wondered where you tuned-port boys kept your EGR valve! HAH!
great project!
looks like you know your way around! keep us updated-love to see these cars rescued from time's abuse and their progress back to glory!!

Looks great so far, you got a lot accomplished in 2 weeks. It looks like you know what you're doing. I wish I had your ambition, well I guess I used too. Keep up the good work.
