Default C5 Wheels on a C4

OK, so I found a set of C5 wheels at a great price ... 17" front and 18" rear. They look just like the 1996 CE wheels. Please your expert opinions and experience putting the 1999 C5 wheels on a 1996 LT4?

Early C4 would need spacers, late C4 are fine without.

I love mine for my 91. They will fit your 96 with no problem. I even found some C4 decals to put on the centers. The C5 decals came off easily with heat and Goof Off.
These are 50th Anniv Champagne color wheels.

Shoot them over my way (zip 68505), I'll throw them on my car with spacers so you can see what they look like, and then I'll be sure to ship them right back to you as fast as possible... promise....

So, no issues with th 18" in the back ... clearance, offset, rubbing. Sounds like my LT4 will be good with the wheels. Will let you know if it works out.

Offset is 7mm deeper, 1/4" so not much. Make sure you size your new rubber correctly on the rears, and you'll have no speedo or fender rub issues

The color and wheel combination is great. All I need is a set of lug nuts for the 1999 C5 style wheels. Thanks, Dave in Chesterfield.

I run C5 wheels on mine with the stock C5 rear tire(P275/40R18)and have no issues.I do keep the stock C4 tires on the front(P255/45R17).No current pics but my avatar is chrome wagon wheels(97-99) in the same sizes. Now they are painted gloss black with chrome center caps.

If they're coming off a 99' they don't look like 96 CE wheels- are you sure your getting what you think? (5 thin spoke C5's came off 00' and up) otherwise they're the ugly wagon wheels (97-99')
