Any Callaway Corvette owners here?
I was just wondering if there were any Corvette Forum members here that own a Callaway Corvette.
I know there are a lot of ZR1 owners but, I've always liked the Callaway Twin Turboed Vette's especially the 254 mph Sledghammer!
I also, think the 91 Callaway with 403hp and 575 lb. ft. of torque is Very Impressive for a modified L98 with the TPI Intake!
Talk about a Torque Monster!

I only wish I owned an 87 Callaway. The top of the top of the day.
But my stock 87 is a good 2nd choice for me. A good 3rd choice would be any 73 Vette, then after that, any Vette would do.

I actually considered having my 2008 C6 done up as Callaway said they would take mine in when it still had 5000 miles on it and still maintain warranty and official conversion status, but then I couldn't get over the $19,000 price tag.

The purple car is a Twin Turbo Speedster, #7 of 10 Series 1 Speedsters built (Series 1=L98 based, there were also two LT5 based Super Speedsters). This one doesn't come out as much as I would like it to as it only as 1100 miles on it and I'm trying to keep that number low. The Speedsters were rated at 450 HP and 600 lb. ft. torque. The Super Speedsters had 750 HP and infinite torque, I think.
If you're interested, there are more details and photos in a couple of articles published online by another CF member.

Thanks Mike. Both are 1991s. The yellow car is a Twin Turbo Aerobody convertible. Callaway did 26 AB convertibles in 1991. This one is my "driver", although the mileage is still pretty low. As the OP posted, 403 HP, 575 lb. ft. torque.
