Default my 89 progress build. lsx, c5 brakes, flares, showin it off.

well, i bought this car last year, bone stock 1989 l98/zf6 z51. black/black, 98k miles, had a small knock, payed 3k for it.
the day i brought it home

fast forward a year. . . 02 LS1(all arp bolts, TSP ms3cam) t56(ACT clutch, wilwood hydros, -4an line, homemade cbeam adapter) , dennys driveshafts, c6 z06 wheels, bfg kdw2s, c5z06 front brakes, drm bais spring, cross drilled/slotted rotors/s.steel lines, speed hut gauges, racetronic hotwire kit and 255 FP, front has airride, exhaust and roll bar were made at home, in my driveway, all work was done by me with the exception of the horrible tune!

add some hid foglights, socalivettes fender flares, and some busted headlight motors and this is 2 days ago

theres still alot to be done, just wanted to show off what ive accomplished since i bought the car roughly a exact year ago(+ or - a week or so)

still needs- ac lines made, -1 inch more in rear, new targa top, weatherstripping, paint, and a new/good tune. the tags are the old owners, i refuse to drive it till its done!

hope you guys like it, thanks to socalivette for putting up with me, and hooking me up with the sweet fender flares, they look great and complement the wheel setup nicely! let me know what you guys think!

That's bad-azz!! Looks like tons of work and a fistfull of $$ went into it. Job well done!
I wonder about the the super high-mount brake light though.

That is one bad C4, ive never seen an ls1 in a C4. How difficult was it to install (ls1)and tune?

theres a few of us around here with lsx swaps. wasnt to bad to install really. and tuning? i cant tune, but the way its setup its the same as tuning any ls based gm vehicle through the obd2 port with efilive or hptuners(or other programs)

thanks for the compliments guys! i appreciate the kind words. as for the brake light, it was stuck on there when i got it. im afraid of taking it off till its ready for body work!

It's hard to believe that's the same car you bought bone stock. That is really cool and bad a$$ at the same time so you my friend did a great job.

Are those the new flares socal has been working on? They look good

Sorry, I was referring to the one that appears to stick up about 6' from the roof. Another attempt at humour gone horribly wrong.
