Pics of the new 84-89 Double Din radio bezel! Add NAV to your C4

Melting Slicks
No Navi. Wanting to get rid of the bose system totally. Cd insert from the front probably but I'm open to suggestions as long as I don't have to do any cutting behind the bezel. Price range is very open. I want it to look good (less aftermarket look the better).

Do you mean cut the dash behind the bezel to fit the head unit? I already have my double din installed, just waiting for my bezel from Dennis. I didn't have to cut anything to fit the head unit in my 85. I'll post a pic of what it looks like right now in a little while. I am excited!

Here are the pics. The radio is in loosely. I am waiting for the bezel so I can reposition it and make new brackets.
It is tough to tell from the pic, but my hood emblem is my wall paper for the screen. Here is a close up of the screen...
BTW I should add, I have been in touch with Dennis a couple of times. Very friendly, very easy to talk to. Even for an impatient and excited customer like me. This transaction has been a pleasure. Can't wait to install the bezel. I'll post pics when I do.

I just wanted to thank Dennis. I got mine back and it looked like a factory trim piece. They did a amazing job. I haven't gotten around to installing it yet, but when I do I will post pics. Mine took a little longer then expected, but Dennis was very friendly and informative the whole way. They took every one of my calls and never made excuses. A+ in my book. I would and will recommend Double D Mods to anybody I can think of. Thanks guys!

Finally got my stereo properly installed. It took about 4hrs (I was also messing around with my breadbox eliminator). The trim piece looks great! I can't tell you how excited I am to finally have my car stereo in order. I installed the double din last winter and it had looked like crap for too long. Thanks again Dennis for doing this for us early C4 guys! Here are a couple of pics.

I'd love to see these for the '94-'96's. I could do it myself and I'm sure it would come out fine but it's nice to have a backup plan. I know someone who did it for his '95 and he had to modify the car so the DD size receiver would sit all the way in. Anyone else tried?

Any word on this? I'm getting ready to put the Pioneer Stereo in my 95.

Hey so my understanding is if I go with the kenwood 318 all I need to do is make my own bracket and not cut up anything in my 1985 corvette? Is the pricing still the same if I send in my bezel, you will do it for 129.99. If so this is exactly what I need!
