fixing a hole were the rain comes in
with the heavy down poor of rain we got in PA yesterday my 94 coupe took on some water. but only on the driver side. it was bad enough I had to take out the carpet and under lament and hang it on the wash line to dry. after I bought the car I noticed someone jacked the car in the wrong location and put a hole in the floor board. I fixed the hole on the out side but never worried about it on the inside. well I am thinking I did not seal the hole and the water wicked up though.
I replaced the A and B pillar weather striping and the targa top w/s looks good. but the door mains look a little shot and wore out. but the pass side looks the same. I don't notice water leaking in real bad from the top while in the car. so I am thinking that it is coming though the hole. i filled the hole in from the inside now. but also my driver side sill panel was soaked too. but the top side of the floor mat was dry.
