Thanks. It was the first time I'd been on a race track in 25 years -- and it is still the most fun you can have with your clothes on.
It was my first time on that track, so they sent a "guide" out with me to provide tips on the racing line--turn-in points, apexes etc. Very helpful, actually, because there are two seriously blind corners, and it's nice to have someone to tell you, "as you come up the hill, aim for that big tree, it'll put you right where you want to be."
I'm not sure about doing it again. It is hard on the car. My biggest worry is whether the auto tranny will stand up to that kind of abuse on a regular basis.
At the same time, it was a hoot pushing the car to its limits for the first time. Having driven formula 2000 cars back in the day, I was very impressed by the vette's handling - exceeded my expectations.
