I am going to get rid of the bose system. Heads bad, (cassette) front speaker amps are gonners too. It is going to be cheaper to replace with aftermarket speakers.

What are the right sizes for the rear speakers and doors?

I just put a full system in my 86. Speakers were 6.5 inch in the doors and 8 inch subs in the hatch locations. Installer was able to retain the Bose grilles in the hatch but not in the doors. Still looks and sounds killer.
