Default Is this a rare car?

I've been looking at a 1995 convertible, Admiral blue with a tan top and tan interior. How rare is this color combination? I have only seen them with a black top and black interior. If anyone also knows how many where made in that color combination.

Get the serial number and plug it into a site called compnine.com and they will tell you. Will it be worth any other C4 in the same condition? No.

If you get it post up a pic. We like pics.

It sounds like a beautiful car. One of 4971 that just happens to be blue. It could possibly be the only one in the world with its specific options, and it's specific history. Of course that would describe any one of us.

I wouldn't base your purchase on how rare it is. Base it on condition, history, maintenance, and wear of all the important stuff (tires / seats / weatherstrip).

If it has sport seats, serious bonus (in my opinion)

Good luck!

David

ps I love my admiral!!!!

It's probably been posted at least a hundred times. Every time someone wants to know what options their car came with.

Defintitely uncommon. If that means rare, yes. If youre thinking rare meaning its worth a bunch of money no. Its still a C4 they just arent collectible cars. Not for awhile anyways.

Once the C3s are priced out of sight the C4s day miiiiight come.

Different color combo for sure

Having a "unique" C4 is a bit of a double edged sword. While there may be a low number, it probably won't make the car very valuable. Also, it may have been an option that was just unpopular. Like... if someone ordered a Polo Green with white/red interior. I'm sure it's maybe 1 of....1? But that's because noone wanted it.

Btw, the colors I mentioned are just an example of the most hidious color combo I could think of and I really don't have the color specs off hand. And just so people know I'm not insulting them, I do like Polo Green.

Here's one for ya though! Looking at the Corvette Museum again (I get bored) and checking out their orders page. Has anyone ordered a build sheet from them? They have the catalog, build sheets and even the brochures from year specific Corvettes! Compnine can give you all the options from the car, but having a copy of the original build sheet is kinda... cool.

*edit*
Just for example, I ran my car through Compnine.
My car
There are 1 1991 CORVETTE 2 DR vehicles (0.007%) matching your exact options list. There are 3 (0.021%) with at least as many options.
"super rare"

I ordered the build sheet and window sticker for mine.
Doesn't make the car worth anymore, but kind of cool to have.

And now you have found one of the faults of that site.
Some VIN's will come back with "No Data Found". But everyone that is listed seems to be "rare" like you found.
Very misleading, so don't put a lot of faith in it.
We all know very few (if any) of these cars are rare.

There were 1005 Vettes painted admiral blue in 1995, can’t help you with the rest. I also have an admiral blue coupe, and people always comment and ask if it is a factory color so it’s a nice color to have, but in the long run doesn’t affect the value either way, and I can’t see a day when it ever will. Sure there are somethings that one day in the distant future could make c4s a collectable car, I don’t see rare color being one of them.

Lots of things can make it 1 of 1. Having Michigan emissions and spare tire delete can make a car unique, not the same
e as desireable.

I wasn't flaming you, I'm just saying that most cars come up as 1 of 1 on this site because it looks at all options, not just major/desireable ones. You can look at the list at the bottom of the site and see what options contribute to making it unique.
