Default 2011 Camdenton Show [Pics]

Got to attend a Corvette show yesterday! Great turnout and had a blast! The first 3 Corvettes owned by two friends from the Jefferson City area (strong running Procharged C6 and a very radical, fire breathing, E85 burning, blow through F1 Procharged C3) and my ol’ yellow 96. Also there are pictures from every generation Corvette, plus one that I don’t know how to classify. Hope you enjoy!

I was at the show great turn out and great weather. There were a lot more C4's that usual at a car show. The red 86 with ZR1 chrome wheels is mine. I got lucky and got runner up for C4 coupe.

Great pictures, thanks for posting them.

Yep, I recognized this car from other posts on the forum. You had it polished up nice! Congrats on the award.

If anyone can get to this show, I'd recommend it. $25 if pre-registered and you get a shirt, good BBQ lunch for 2, and everyone got a door prize! Gary and Nancy do a great job and Hulett Chevrolet is a great host. They even had a new Grand Sport that was priced over $70k for $59.

I was at this show! You have a picture which my Plum colored 73 is shown, pix 173, she is sitting in the upper right hand corner of the picture!

Hubby and I live a few miles South of Camdenton and know Nancy and Gary thru the Lake Ozark Corvette Club. This was the 4th Corvette Meet and Greet.
What a fantastic day, beautiful Corvettes, awesome owners and Dang good BBQ!

Thanks for the pics Andrew. I didn't see Matt's black beast or TJ's white C4 anywhere, is Matt still working on his? I remember seeing ThomasRetUSN Red C4 when I was at the show in Missouri last year, that is one nice C4. My favorite of the pics outside of yours naturally, would be the red 63 Split, my dream car. Again thanks for sharing Andrew and hope all is well in MO.

Thanks Dale! Matt and TJ were not able to attend. I'd trade my C4 for that 63 in a minute.... it was pretty much flawless. This show has really increased in quality and numbers over the past few years. I hope it continues to increase.

If you think my car sounds good, you should hear that white C3 sometime. It's one nasty machine and couldn't guess what kind of power it makes! It's the kind that shakes you as it drives around, then you notice that unmistakable sound of a high boost blower. Oh, he also says it gets about 3 mpg.

That white C3 came into the parking lot and I was standing where he intended to park. Needless to say I moved very quickly, just the sound of that engine shook me to the core.I asked the lady which was the passenger if she had ever driven the Vette and she told me NO.She had no desire to drive it. I told her if I were the passenger I'd have to drive it!

My husband talked to the owner of the White C3 and was told that the Vette had 800HP, super charged.

Yea, 800 hp at 4000 rpm. I don't know what it made, but it sounded like much more.

Nice pics. You can classify the last one as a C5 that wants to be a C1.
