War Bonnet Yellow C4?
anyone ever saw or have pics of a War Bonnet Yellow C4? I love the color on a C3, curious as to how good it would look on a C4.

a WBY C4? it would be different, that's for sure. don't think it would be my cup of tea though...
maybe someone could do the photoshop thing.

Are you thinking competition yellow? This is my yellow LT4 ragtop.

Back in the midwest, we used to call it "calf sh*t yellow". Along with elkhart green and ontario orange, kind of defined the early 70's. That was back before factory clear coat, and when the paint started fading, it flattened out and looked different and got it's alternate name. Actually was fairly popular as a new car color (for a short while).

- doesn't look too bad when fresh and new, but it does look like "crap" when aged. definitely a 70's color. it probably has has no business on a C4.

Sometimes it's not as easy to visualize as what you think. Or maybe what I mean is something that sounds bad does not look bad. About this time last year we went to the NCM and one of the cars on display was a '58 (may still be there, I don't know). Anyway it was a 1-time experiment which some GM women picked out, kind of a light baby-poop green. In words it sounds terrible but seeing it for real, it was a very fine looking car.
That said, looking at the C-3 photo (which DOES look good) and trying to visualize that on a C-4, well, I don't think so!
