Apologizing in advance if this sounds negative but is there any hard evidence that these wings offer significant downforce for improved track performance are they just icing on a cake? I am looking for something to help at the track.

We have never tunnel tested our products.. That's not to say they don't have the ability to "spoil" the air and create some down force. Plus they look pretty good too!
