Callaway Kicks Off 25-Years of Callaway Corvettes w/ a Couple New Items:

We are very proud of our 25-year association with the Chevrolet Corvette and have put together a couple of items to help commemorate the celebration

Please visit our online store: http://shop.callawaycars.com for details on the new Callaway Calendar (October 2011-December 2012) and lapel pin

Thank you for checking these items out - and for your 25 years of support

Lapel Pin, Callaway 25th Anniversary
Die Struck, Brushed Metal Lapel Pin commemorates the 25th anniversary of the Callaway Corvette. The first generation Callaway "Twin Turbo" Corvettes were built at Callaway's Old Lyme CT facility under contract for Chevrolet Division. The RPO B2K was the first time a Regular Production Option designation was applied to a Chevrolet vehicle that was prepared external to GM facilities. Over 500 Callaway Twin Turbos were built during the 1987 to 1991 model years and sold by Chevy dealers worldwide.

When Chevrolet made the transition from L98 engine to LT1 engine in 1992, management decided that the ZR1 would become the top-line Corvette, avoiding the turbo system retooling expense. The Callaway Corvette lived on, however, now designated Callaway "SuperNatural" Corvette with added displacement and internal engine modifications replacing turbocharging to provide increased performance.

During the C5 Corvette era, the Callaway Corvette evolved into the Callaway C12, with a race car variant winning pole positions at Le Mans and world-class supercar in road configuration. Callaway engineering was also busy with its development contracts for Aston Martin, Land Rover, Mazda and Holden (GM-Australia) during this period.

By the time the C6 Corvette was introduced, Callaway was ready with SuperNatural and SuperCharged Corvettes. The supercharged SC-series ultimately replaced the naturally aspirated models, offering significantly more bang for the buck. Over the years since 2005, Callaway has added new standard and optional equipment and applied numerous refinements to the Callaway Corvette, culminating in the current SC606 and SC652 models.

1.25" diameter with butterfly clutch attachment.

Full size Callaway Calendar includes 15 months of beautiful photos depicting classic and present-day Callaway road cars and race cars. 17" high, 11.5" wide when displayed.

Keep up the good work Chris. A friend of mine in our club just bought a Callaway GS this year and another is sending his car there shortly.

Thanks to all who have checked out the online store - in response to a question by one who was on our site, we do have the new shirts and soft-shell jacket, also in-stock!

The new Callaway golf-style shirts (I wear an XL and they run a slight bit on the large side...) are made of material that stays cool - and if you travel, rarely need to be ironed!

Additionally, Callaway soft shell racing jackets have been added See pic:

(I wear an XXL in this one, as the torso area is tapered to fit)

Very nice, but since this is the C4 section, how much to install an aerobody fully painted today? Last thread I found on it ended in 2005.

We do still produce the C4 Callaway AeroBody and could install it for you. The price for a C4 AeroBody is $8,650
( http://shop.callawaycars.com/AeroBod...-250418000.htm ) Plus installation and paint - which we'd have to get for you if interested. Please let me know The Callaway AeroBody can also be installed locally by any competent body and paint shop.
