94 LT1 30lb vs. 24lb Injectors
Need some advice.
I am planning on replacing my stock 24lb injectors on my 94 with 86k miles.
I also plan on getting head and intake porting from Elliott in about 6 months and he suggests 30lb. injectors for this.
Problem is that I am replacing fuel pump and filter as well and want to replace the injectors at the same time.
Can I use the 30lb. injectors now?
Will I need an AFPR, if so what pressure do I use?
On a side note, does anyone have any experience with the Metco MFR0003 92-97 Corvette Fuel Pressure Regulator?
Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

FWIW, Not all injectors are rated at the same pressure (for example, Ford injectors are rated at 39psi). In addition, the injector offsets can be different...different types open/close at different rates...so you'll need to know that info as well when tuning.

Thanks for the responses.
I spoke with John today at FIC, I will be purchasing the Bosch III 30lb injectors.
Any particular info these injectors.
Also any input on the Metco AFPR?

You did good to talk to John at FIC! He can tell you everything you need to know about setting it up correctly.
I'd like to find out myself if an after mkt. regulator has any advantages over the stock one as far as precision control, or if it is wasted effort on a mostly stock engine.
